On Tuesday, May 6, the Frostburg Branch of the American Association of University Women held their annual dinner meeting reviewing and celebrating another successful year. Last Thursday the Compton Science Center held the Alumni Circle of Excellence Awards. Four successful Frostburg State University Alumni were honored with the reward. The honorees were welcomed with lunch with the Dean, enjoyed a campus tour, met with students in the home department, attended a reception in their honor by the Alumni Association, and also participated in an open discussion session. Walk 'n Roll is an annual walk-a-thon fundraiser to benefit The Family Junction organization in Cumberland. Participants can choose to walk a five mile walk down the C&O Canal towpath or a 4-36 mile bike ride (hence the "roll") on the Great Allegheny Passage. (0) comments
