It's hard to run down the list of all that goes on in the Hip Hop community so pardon me as I breeze through the minor details and get right into the good stuff. Eminem will finally release an album on December 5th titled Re-Up. Game and Rass Kass got into a bit of a scuffle after running into one another in a L.A. nightclub. Rass Kass reportedly threw a few shots at Game in his single "Caution". Though no one really knows who threw the first punch (of course), the two claim the beef is squashed, but with Games album on the way that seems a tad bit hard to believe. Wyclef and Ying Yang Twins plan to collaborate on a joint venture entitled 2 Live Crew. Expect a late November release and nothing shy of nonsense.

Inspired by a lot of the old heads hitting the road recently (Slick, Tribe and Rakim), EPMD is attempting to put the past behind them and perform at the BB King Blues Club in NY on October 14th. With history in the making don't expect tickets to last too long.

Talib Kweli is back and hitting hard. With his recent hit "Listen" making its way through airwaves and video circuits all over the country, Kweli prepares for his newest release Ear Drum. Since the release of his classic LP, Reflection Eternal, fans have been eager to hear a solid release from the Brooklyn emcee. After his poor attempt to conform to the commercial crowd with the release of Beautiful Struggle, Kweli has a lot of ground to make up for. With guests including Jean Grae, Norah Jones and of course Mos Def and production from Just Blaze, Kanye and old friend Hi-Tek, Ear Drum is bound to keep Kweli afloat.

After two solid years of touring, recording and distribution, the water has been virtually calm for the members of the Justus League. Though 9th Wonder has been hard at work with production everywhere you turn (Boot Camp, Skyzoo, Murs, Buckshot), the Hall of Justus has been way below the radar. On October 3rd, the HOJ will finally release their Soldiers of Fortune LP, including never before heard tracks from Little Brother, The Away Team, Chaundon and L.E.G.A.C.Y. Now with a collaborative effort underway, maybe the rest of the HOJ crew will be seeing the light of day. But, we can at least look forward for another Little Brother release.

A few weeks ago, I reported that Jay-Z is expected to release a comeback album and predicted Hov to drop sometime in'07. Well… (Drum roll please), Jay's out-of-retirement album will drop November 14th. Cleverly titled Kingdom Come, derived from the original comic when Superman came out of retirement to save the world, Jay's newest single "Show me what you got" will hit radio in October, with an expected video shortly after. Wonderful, The Rulers Back, but for how long?
