Student gets assistance in the Writing Center.

It's that time again when students have to get back into the swing of things. Sad to say, summer's over and the next 15 weeks of your life will be dedicated to student organizations, socializing, and dishing the latest gossip around campus. However, don't forget about your main focus, academics.

Faculty in the Writing Center in Pullen Hall room 151, are here to help at a nominal fee: free. The center's purpose is to improve students' writing through grammar, brainstorming, creating a thesis, paper organization, and study skills.

This service is a one-on-one session with a tutor and can be made by appointment or walk-in. No requirements are necessary to get help except bringing homework assignments to the sessions such as papers that need to be strengthened. Assistance is available daily except Saturdays.

For further questions contact director, Phoebe Wiley @ 301-687-3077. Freshmen, transfer students and upperclassmen, don't wait until it's too late for help; start now.
