Welcome to Frostburg Class of 2010, and welcome back returning students from Frostburg State University's Greek life! Every organization is looking forward to recruitment. There are six fraternities, seven sororities, and seven NPHC fraternities and sororities on our campus. Each organization has a unique history and upcoming events!

The Fraternity men who represent Frostburg State University are:

Delta Chi: Frostburg's Delta Chi chapter was founded in 1991. These men won the recruitment and academic awards at the past Greek Awards Banquet.

Phi Tau:
Phi Tau was founded in 1993 and is looking forward to a great semester.

Pi Lambda Phi: Pi Lambda Phi was founded at Frostburg in 1989. They would like to welcome the freshmen. Good luck in classes this fall! Get good grades and come out to recruitment in the spring. The brothers and their alumni went white water rafting this summer, had cookouts, and went to the beach. The brothers hope everyone will support their homecoming candidate Nick Sagwitz and their fundraisers for the March of Dimes.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon: The brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon live by the creed of the true gentleman, and excel in community, education, and family.

Tau Kappa Epsilon:
Tau Kappa Epsilon was re-founded in January 2002 at Frostburg State University. Their brother was Homecoming King last fall, and they are hoping for strong representation this Homecoming, as well as a strong recruitment.

The sorority women at Frostburg are:

Alpha Gamma:
Alpha Gamma would like to welcome back all students and incoming freshmen! They hope that everyone had a great summer, and would like you to be on the lookout for emails and fliers for this semester's recruitment which will be starting on Monday, September 4th.

Alpha Sigma Tau: The sisters of Alpha Sigma Tau sent four representatives to their national conference this summer held at Disney World! They returned home with an award for excellent recruitment. They had a great time helping with freshmen move in and meeting the class of 2010! Recruitment will be starting Monday, September 4th, and bids will be given out on September 9th! Anyone interested in recruitment this semester should contact Leslie Cohen at LCohen0@frostburg.edu. Don't forget to support Gina Overstreet for Homecoming Queen!

Alpha Xi Delta:
The Gamma Psi chapter of Alpha Xi Delta was founded in 1961, and began locally as Phi Omicron Delta in 1938. They are the oldest sorority on campus and are a group of tight knit fun loving girls. Recruitment will begin September 12th, and will last for two weeks. To learn more about recruitment contact President, Ashley Diggs at ADiggs0@frostburg.edu.
