5/5 B&E. A laptop was taken from a student's room in Frederick Hall.

5/6 Alcohol Violation. Sowers Hall resident and guest were cited in the Center St. Lot.

5/6 Hit & Run. Staff member reported damage to his parked vehicle in PAC Lot.

5/7 B&E. Vending machine in Cumberland Hall was broken into. Candy, not cash, was taken.

5/7 Assault. Police Officer was assaulted by former student as the officer was escorting another person from student dance. Charged with assault, resisting arrest, disturbing
the peace, possession of CDS.

5/2 Theft. University property was observed in a Bowery St. residence. Property recovered, J-Board referral made

5/9 Destruction of Property. A vending machine in Gray Hall was damaged in an unsuccessful break-in attempt.

5/9 Alcohol Violation. Stop sign violation at Edgewood resulted in traffic and underage citations.

5/10 Destruction of Property. Window in door of classroom in PE was broken.

5/10 CDS. Officers investigated CDS case in Diehl Hall. J-Board & criminal charges to follow.

5/11 B&E. A laptop was taken from an unlocked room in Simpson Hall.

Enough with the laptops, already! I guess I can't say it enough- lock your door. None of the recent laptop thefts took place from a locked room. Graduating seniors take note- sure, it's a time to celebrate, but don't overdo it. You've made a four year investment. A medical or motor vehicle tragedy at Commencement time might just take the fun out of things for you, your
parents and your classmates
