The Pulse

The mass exodus is coming. Some will leave. Others will vamoose. A select few will partake in the proverbial act of "peacing out". Their reasons will vary. However, whether they are setting out on a pilgrimage that will lead them to surf and sand, or simply fleeing from debris falling from the library roof, they will all have one thing in common; the second the back tire of their car (or, in some cases, the back tire of their mother's minivan) ceases to be on university property. Wheelchair Challenge: A Love Story

An event raises disability awareness

In a world where ignorance manifests itself daily in the form of prejudice, hatred, and the occasional acceptance speech interruptions at award shows, it is very easy to become cynical about the morality human race. It's been five years. Graduating seniors can remember the last Gorrilaz studio album released when they were graduating from High School. Since Demon Days' release, Gorillaz has been catapulted past the fame their self-titled album garnered, through the phase when "Feel Good Inc" was the overplayed song of the year, through the time when late-comers were discovering "D.A.R.E.", all the way to 2010, when their latest release is finally hitting shelves. "Plastic Beach" was released Tuesday, March 9, and has brought the Gorillaz back to the forefront of...whatever Gorillaz is. (0) comments

Spring will be here before long so it's time to purchase those tickets to see your favorite artists! There are quite a few venues and festivals around the local area that bands will be performing at.

St. Patrick's Day falls right in the middle of spring break this year. On Wednesday, March 17, Saint Patrick's Day, Windsor Hall in Cumberland, MD, will present a concert of Irish music.

Sure you may have seen a movie about feuding sororities, read an article about fraternity hazing or seen your fellow peers sporting Greek letters in every type of font, color and crazy print around campus but not many students know what being Greek actually is. (0) comments
