As nationwide concern and prevention against the H1N1 flu continues, Frostburg State's campus continues to battle the epidemic as well, with more and more cases of the flu detected. As a branch off of the flu, more flu-like illnesses have also been confirmed throughout the campus. (1) comment

The mastermind behind the 2002 sniper attacks, John Muhammad, was declared dead on November 10, 2009 at 9:11 p.m. For twenty three days in October of 2002, he and his accomplice Lee Malvo caused the metropolitan area to panic. For many, walking down the street, waiting at the bus stop, or pumping gas -- all activities that usually were done without fear -- were done in terror, or not done at all. (0) comments
11/4/09 CDS: Police are investigating a CDS incident involving a student on the 4th floor of Edgewood Commons. A clear plastic tube containing a white powdery substance was found in the apartment after a police search was conducted. Substance was forwarded to the MSP lab for testing. (0) comments
