Walking around the first floor of Dunkle Hall of Frostburg State University you may hear music pouring from the office of Andy Duncan. Duncan is a Professor at FSU, who has found a new way to enjoy music. He listens to music on his Ipod, which features 3,239 songs at the moment with his Bose sound system saying, "It pleases me to listen to the music on high-tech devices. (0) comments
Do people still buy, listen or trade CDs anymore? I'm sure there are a select few who do, but everyone else has their Ipods, Zunes and cool cell phones that hold thousands of songs. Technology is cool, but let's be completely honest...does anyone take the time to listen to an album all the way through anymore? My guess is no. (0) comments
Many people read the article that was put out a few weeks ago titled, "6 Tre G Anything but Fresh." In that article the artist 6 Tre G of Jive Records and his single, "Fresh" were discussed. In that article there were things that were said that may have been a little too harsh and unnecessary.
Days Difference released their self titled album on Universal Motown Records this past week . This album is sure to be a milestone for this pop band hailing from Virginia. Jeremy Smith (Lead Vocals and Piano), Jonathan Smith (Vocals and Drums), Jeremiah Ricks (Vocals and Guitar), and Micah Ricks (Bass) have come a long way since the bands start in 2004. Days Difference have opened for artists such as Paramore, Lifehouse, Third Eye Blind, Jack's Mannequin, All Time Low and Yellowcard.
