It is common knowledge that the United States economy, as well as the world economy, has hit hard times. People are losing their jobs, homes, businesses, and more, because there is simply just not enough money to pay for it all. Obviously, we are all aware of the rapid weather changes that can occur - almost on a daily basis - on campus. One day it can be 60 degrees outside, pleasantly warm with the sun in the sky and hardly any clouds to blot it out. Then the following day, bone-chilling winds cut through even the thickest of jackets along with falling rain, sleet, snow, or a mixture of all the above. (0) comments
Almost every Thursday around 2 pm, students gather in The Loft in the Lane Center to watch various musical acts perform. This year's lineup has included a wide array of acts catering to many different musical tastes. From a polka-playing band known as The Continentals, to guitar-picking lyricist Stephen Weatherholt, The Loft seems to showcase it all. (0) comments
