Amethyst Initiative: Lowering the Drinking Age to 18?

Abstract:
Now I am sure everyone has heard the talk around campus about the fact that President Gibralter is the only one president who refuses to sign the Amethyst Initiative, promoting discussion regarding the legal drinking age. Does anyone know why? I am here to set the record straight....

Alcohol Rehabilitation

In my opinion, lowering the drinking age will only fill up the rows of those teenagers that end up in an alcohol rehabilitation center. If now they're drinking like crazy everywhere in campuses, while they know not all of them are 21 yet, imagine how it would be if government legalized alcohol for them. I don't see this as a solution.
